Three Rivers Completes CIM@MATTER Healthcare Startup Incubator Program in Chicago
CHICAGO, IL, October 5, 2016 - Three Rivers Cardiovascular Systems has successfully completed the CIM@MATTER mentoring program at MATTER Healthcare Startup Incubator in Chicago. The Chicago Innovation Mentors (CIM) as a part of MATTER has developed extensive entrepreneurship resources, providing a network of mentors for Three Rivers to further accelerate its growth.
Three Rivers was one of three Canadian startups which were selected by the Canadian Trade Commissioner Service in a competitive process to participate in the 2016 program. "We were impressed by Eric's engagement with his mentors which allowed him to reassess his US market strategy to quickly and efficiently overcome major challenges to achieve company milestones," says Chantal Glass, Trade Commissioner of the Canadian Consulate in Chicago.
This program connects MATTER and its member companies with CIM’s network of 200 mentors. CIM@MATTER has significantly strengthened Three Rivers’ ability to acquire tools and knowledge from mentors in the healthcare industry.
“The program has allowed the company to make tremendous progress in a short period of time and establish a business network in the medical community, including two renowned cardiologists joining our scientific advisory board,” says Eric Caron, CEO of Three Rivers.
