Chicago Cardiologists Join Three Rivers’ Scientific Advisory Board
CHICAGO, IL, May 18, 2016 - Interventional cardiologists, Dr. Mladen Vidovich and Dr. Clifford J. Kavinsky join Three Rivers Cardiovascular Systems’ scientific advisory board. With extensive experience in the field, Dr.Vidovich and Dr. Kavinsky provide key resources and feedback for the development of Three Rivers’ product roadmap.
Dr. Kavinsky is internationally recognized in the use of innovative treatments for adults with congenital and structural heart disease. He is an Interventional Cardiologist, Director of the Rush Center for Structural Heart Disease Program and Professor of Medicine and Pediatrics at Rush University Medical Center.
Dr. Mladen Vidovich is Interventional Cardiologist and Associate Professor of Medicine at the University of Illinois. As Chief of Cardiology at the Jesse Brown VA Medical Center in Chicago (VA: U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs) his main interests in interventional cardiology are radial coronary angiography and intervention, intracoronary imaging (OCT, IVUS, NIRS) and quality improvement. Vidovich has published numerous manuscripts and two books on Radial Angiography and Catheterization. He has designed a dedicated radial ventriculography catheter that is currently in clinical use.
